Lyra is a 15 year old girl who was raised at her father's side, and she joined him on all of his travels. He taught her everything from survival, to cooking and needlework. After he passed away, she took up the helm and helps all those who need it. However, even with these skills, she isn't without faults. She hates dresses and anything ‘girly’, she bathes only once a week, she doesn't enjoy the comfort of a home and most of all, most of all, she has a bad habit of getting into fights.

Although it seems like she can do it all on her own, she isn't alone.

There's her backpack, named Ejice and yes, he is a living backpack. It complains whenever it's empty and is very organized, but often has to be the one to put Lyra in her place. Ejice is very stern and always tries to focus on the matter at hand, rather than stray from the path.

The little creature in her hair, is Isis, a small creature she found and it became her Familiar. Isis is capable of using magic, mostly for healing and growing plants from the gem on her tail. She can also fly, if not a short distance. Isis often nests in Lyra's hair, since Ejice complains if it ever gets in his mouth.
