As soon as you touch the black dot, it disappears. Suddenly, a mysterious black flame appears in front of you. Then another one appears, and another. Quickly, you are surrounded by these ominous black flames. Panicking, you back away fast. However, you end up tripping over your feet and fall to the ground face forward. You collect yourself for a moment before looking up back at the flames. As you lift your head and look up, your eyes widen in awe. Out of nowhere, a woman with horns has appeared before you.

You wait for a moment to see if the mysterious lady would react or respond. But nothing. As you examine the woman further, you find that your eyes can only focus on the illuminating flames around her. For some odd reason, they captivate you and you have a strong urge to touch them.

I.

As you reach for the flame on the lady's right, you notice something moving from the corner of your eye. You stop in your tracks as you notice her eyes slowly opening. Her cold and empty stare intimidating you. Gradually, you withdraw your hand and take a few steps away from the lady. Her eyes do not follow but she continues to stare at the flame you almost touched.

I see you have fallen into one of my dimensions...

A drop of sweat slowly slides down the back of your neck, nervous. Her voice was monotone, but off-putting. Intimidating. This is the first time she has spoken for god how long you have been here in this white void. Your eyes meet hers, like a predator stalking a helpless prey. Another cold sweat drips down your cheek, your hands go numb and your body suddenly freezes. Afraid, you ask the lady what or who she is.

I am Vyana. I possess the power of bending space and time. Right now you are in Nothing: neither space or time exists here. It amazes me how a being like you wound up here, let alone survive.

Where you come from, your existence would refer to me as a demon. In other dimensions, some refer me as an ultimate divinity, a spirit, and sometimes, one of them. Call me whatever you see fit.

II.

An uncomfortable silence follows,
while Vyana continues floating in mid air. Not knowing what to do, your eyes just wander around.

You look at the white endlessness around you once more, until your eyes fall back on Vyana. You examine her further and notice that there is no shadow underneath her. You then look down at your feet and notice the same. Curious, you reached in your pocket for anything, finding yourself a paperclip and a rubber band.
With the rubber band, you pulled back one side and flung it away from you. You didn't pull it back that hard but the rubber band kept flying away from you until you no longer saw it in the distance. For the paperclip, you gently tossed it in front of you and it slowly started to suspend in mid air.

Your laws you call Physics do not exist here, same for all dimensions.

Vyana's voice surprised you since you were too fixated on your discoveries.

I have allowed your existence to obey the laws you are familiar with. Without my power, you would be floating around in Nothing.

III.

This Vyana is a mystery and your curiosity grows. So many questions are spinning in your head that you can't even decide which one to ask first.

I have been here from the beginning and I will be here once all of this comes to an end. To you, I may be immortal, but my existence is only true until space and time are no more. I have seen some dimensions collapse into oblivion while others I have seen their birth. In some dimensions, time does wait while some like your home does not.

You stand there, in awe of what you just heard, attentive. It is like Vyana was able to read your mind as she answered almost every single question you had. You eagerly ask if there are others like her.

No.

For some odd reason, her answer disappoints you, but not in the way you were hoping she would say yes. You felt lonely for her. You wanted to keep asking, but you didn't want to pry anymore. Suddenly, your hands begin to warp. You look down and your lower half is behaving the same. Quickly, you turn towards Vyana for an answer, panicking.

Your existence cannot last here any longer. You must return to your home dimension now.

You wake up finding yourself in an endless white abyss. You sit up straight and observe your surroundings but no matter where you turn... there is nothing. Regardless of the emptiness, you carry on hoping to find something or anything that could explain what is going on. Just a couple steps forward a faint black dot appears right by you. You kneel down closer to examine it. The closer you got to it, the darker it became. Gently, you brushed your fingers across the mysterious object.
