Gwyne Lucis is the wife of Antonius and mother of Kasimir. She is known as the Vipress of Saoris due to her more aggressive disposition. When Antonius was ill for months on end she was the one in charge. Antonius was a very firm ruler but Gwyne took that to the next level. Public hangings and various other executions were very common place when she or her family was slighted. Despite her fiery nature, Gwyne is a renowned herbalist and healer. Many of the commoners would come to seek aid from the queen. This was one of the few ways to see her more gentle side.
