While leaving your house for work you find a sealed, yellowed letter on your doorstep. There is neither a name nor an address anywhere on it, but having gotten curious you decide to break the seal. You pull an equally yellowed letter outside which has an almost golden glow in the early morning light and is filled with delicate letters in black ink:


"Dear human,
I know this must be very unexpected and confusing to you, but I've been watching you for quite a while now. Please don't be upset, I've done this only because I genuinely want to help you. Unfortunately you really seem to like keeping maybies, probablies and what ifs around in your life.

From my personal experience I can tell you that they are not your friends and will make you feel rather miserable to a point where you will feel completely static. Apparently it is an unavoidable part of human nature to fear decisions, changes and most of all consequences. I'm not writing this letter to judge you or humanity as a whole though.

I just want to let you know that in the second you make up your mind, when you're finally ready to go the step of making a choice, I'll be there. Just let your soul call out for me and I'll help you to push all those maybies, probablies and what ifs aside. I'll patiently wait for that moment to arrive, always and forever,
