Welcome to Baked with Love!

Nice to meet you! I'm Jayna. Baked with Love is dedicated to my late husband, Jace.

I've always loved baking. During our courtship and marriage, I've made countless treats for Jace. Being the little dork that I was - I always included a heart or tucked a slip of paper with a love message in the baked goods for him to find. They're my love letters to him.

When Jace passed away unexpectedly, I was devastated. I was inconsolable for months. I quit my cubicle job. I was in a dark place, and I didn't know what to do with my life.

My wonderful friends dragged me from my grief and back on my feet.

"You always baked lovely cupcakes and cookies!" they said, "Why not share them with the world?"

They supported me to open Baked with Love so that I could.

Baking sometimes feels like my strongest remaining connection to Jace. Baked with Love is not just a bakery. It's my love letter to the world. Each baked good includes a message of love: hidden on the cupcake wrappers, tucked between slices of bread, frosted on cookies, or printed on the paper bag:

"You're beautiful"
"I believe in you"
"You are loved"

"I'm proud of you"
