When you think of potions, what comes to mind? A mana potion from an RPG? A healing potion, from any generic battling game?

Perhaps, like me, your mind becomes alive with images of the softly simmering cauldron with its shimmering fumes. Perhaps you have noticed the delicate power of liquids that creep through human veins, bewitching the mind, ensnaring the senses.

Potions are powerful, and often underestimated. I am the potions master, and if you wish to learn, then you simply must come to me. I can teach you, if you aren't as big a dunderhead as I usually have to teach.

If you're in slytherin, you'll likely find yourself having a much easier time in my class, although fools will still be marked as fools...

There was one I found even more beautiful than the cauldron. One whose heart was lost after I spoke a single, repulsive word- Mudblood. I lost her, the love of my life. Even hearing the word now is intolerable.

Lily Evans... never shall I stop loving you, even though it has been years since your death, forever I will remember you. My patronus is a silver doe, the same as hers was. Love is eternal.

Her son, Potter, acts insufferably like his father, but whenever I look at him, I see her eyes. It hurts to see him- looking at him feels like looking at a dim copy of her. I can hardly bear to look at him.

His demeanor is so similar to his father's. I suppose I am cruel to him, but he is so much like the man who stole my true love's heart. I lost her, and even after all this time, I love her. Always.

Even though he becomes more like his father each passing day, still I protect him, despite his ridicule and open disrespect.

“I have spied for you and lied for you, put myself in mortal danger for you. Everything was supposed to be to keep Lily Potter’s son safe. Now you tell me you have been raising him like a pig for slaughter —”
