NOT THE ACTUAL STORY - WHOLE PROFILE IS WIP
The bright eyes peered from the shadows, looking first left, then right, then left again for good measure.A soft sigh escaped the round and somehow always a little ruffled looking raccoon as he trotted silently across the long alley and behind the massive green dumpster. It was a good evening - the family had once again forgotten to close the heavy plastic lids, leaving access to the possible treasure inside to all who dared scale the beast. He stood up on his back legs and stretched his arms up, just grabbing the bumpy pocket of the dent on the left side.Cold to the touch in the night air, but not enough to deter him, he hoisted himself somewhat gracefully up and over, landing with a muffled thud on the piles of garbage inside. While his nose tempted him - old meat down a few bags, day-old fries over there, his belly was full enough that he stayed on mission. He knew exactly what it was he was seeking, he had seen the often somewhat disgruntled seeming man earlier in the day, heard the musical voices from inside rising and falling - his favorite chaotic melody - as he had come outside and looked over a few rags before disposing of them alongside the black bags.Where are they, where are they ... yes! there! He hopped to the corner and triumphantly lifted the stained but still somewhat white hand towel for inspection. A few small holes, but the tear along one side was exactly what he needed. He chittered delightedly as he turned it over in his clever hands and then wrapped it around his waist, tucking it snugly in a semi-secure knot-like fashion. He couldn't believe his luck, finally! One step closer to his dream. Oh how Papa and Father would cheer and clap as he paraded his newest prize."Niiiiiccoo" as if summoned by the happy thoughts."Have you started the night's festivities without us mister?"Two large raccoons meandered into the alley and came to a pause at the foot of the dumpster. One sat, looking up with a good-natured and amused expression while the other, who gave off a somewhat regal aura, scanned up and down the alley before gracefully climbing up to join their son.
Story In Progress -
Nicco wants to be just like his hero Bob Belcher! He is on a quest to find all the items he needs to open his very own food cart for his animal friends who live in his and the nearby alleys! An apron, spatula, and a few items to put together his stand and he'll be good to go! Then it's just doing what he already loves - dumpster diving to find delicacies for him and his friends!
