Once a spy for House Kilrahel, Solaurin was betrayed and left for dead. He spent days wandering the labyrinthine caverns of the Underdark, waiting for death to take him... Until he stumbled across an ancient, abandoned temple dedicated to the god Lloth - Lord of Spiders. He expected for the temple to become his grave, but instead he met Lloth and found himself entangled in the spider lord's webs.

Lloth offered Solaurin a deal. His service in exchange for a form that could survive in the caverns and traverse them with ease. Even into the world above if he chose. Freedom he had never tasted before… if he only gave his body over to the great spider. Solaurin accepted without hesitation. Anything was preferable to dying..
