Ella/18/Pisces

Ella is known to be very friendly, she often finds herself in a company of very different people. Another aspect of Ella is her empathy and expressed emotional capacity. She was raised in a religious, very strict family and was taught to be selfless, so she is always willing to help others, without hoping to get anything back.

Ella has two siblings - an older sister and step-brother. Her sister, Nicole, is a mentor who helps her in many ways when their mother is being overbearing or intrusive whereas her step-brother, Edgar, is the scrappy of the family. He was born when their mother was 16 and obviously not married, the father left her and she was left to fend for herself. She was shamed a lot and maybe even regretted having Edgar, however found a certain peace when she met her current husband, Ella's and Nicole's father. However, their mother became only worse in regards to her children, often being obviously neglectful towards Edgar but a complete helicopter-parent towards Nicole and Ella.

Since Edgar is well in his 20's he now lives an independent life but during family meetings Nicole and Ella make sure he feels welcome and is not being bullied by his mother and step-father. They helped him find his biological father and they made amends and actually became friends. Ella and Nicole have met Edgar's father too and he even calls them his adoptive daughters. They feel much more welcome in his household than their own so they visit as often as their can make excuses to their own biological parents without being too suspicious.

Nicole is sort of the rebellious sister and growing up barely listened to her parents, despite her mother making sure her daughters would not "make the same mistakes". She didn't become a pregnant teen however Nicole enjoyed rock music, teen magazines, parties and other things her mother deemed "dangerous" but her strong personality helped her stay on track despite any temptations life threw at her, she would argue with her mother a lot but never bent in front of her constant nagging and abuse. Nicole went on to become an animal rights activist and studied to become a veterinarian and is a vocal member of non-government organizations and charity events. She is Ella's role model and closest friend.

Ella wishes to be as free as her sister and as resilient as her brother, but being the youngest in the family and the "last hope" of her mother, Ella usually has to endure most of her mother's outbursts and abuse. Perhaps that is why she was attracted to a certain reckless guy and his friends, she learned that those who might seem "dangerous" and "wrong" from the outside are actually much more complicated when you get to know them. Sometimes your true family isn't your blood family.

Music is Ella's passion. She plays the violin and piano and has attended music school since she started regular school and got used to being in front of an audience by playing at concerts both at school and home. Ella often sings or hums to herself and the only reason her siblings don't tell her to keep quiet is her wonderful voice. Singing and playing her instruments is another way for Ella to share her emotions, songs without words can convey her feelings in a way that won't make her mother angry with her.
