juniper • junne
based on my oc: https://toyhou.se/383954.juniper

- doesn't have any friends
- her girlfriend is the only one she really cares about (outside of family)
- problem kid; grades are okay but she's always getting into fights. stop junne 2K17
- she's got quite a temper and is terribly overprotective; very intimidating and tall to boot
- she's a bit softie on the inside though, but she'll take that to her grave. she's gotta be strong for her strawberry

- i'm not sure what i'm doing for her profile yet
- any suggestions for her treasure chest are welcome
- here's a little something i started writing for her and still haven't finished, might or might not go in the final profile:

Juniper constantly worried those around her, she realized.
It was no secret, she supposed, given how little concern she showed for her own well-being.
She'd often wonder if they weren't tired of fussing over her, making sure she didn't do anything too reckless.
She wasn't quite sure why they cared; she certainly didn't. Well, most of the time, in any case. She wasn't about to change, though. She wondered if she could change.

It had been that way even when she was a mere child.
Her parents always had this look in their eyes, brows creased with worry, seemingly at loss of what to do. That look.
Juniper wasn't a bad kid, per say; at least, not at such a young age. She was just reserved, quiet. Maybe too quiet, they thought.
She didn't have any friends - not that she wanted any, because really, the kids her age were loud, annoying brats, as far as Juniper was concerned.
It didn't help that she had a constant scowl plastered across her face; no one dared approach her, and she was fine with that. That's what she wanted, right?
They were surprised, to say the least, to spot their daughter holding hands with another little girl during one of their trips to the park. And my, was that a smile on her face?

Perphaps they shouldn't have been so worried...
But then it got worse.

A few years down the line, her teachers would worry, too.
They had grown accustomed to seeing her littered with band-aids and plasters, and odd scar here and there.
But that's how kids were, right? Clumsy and accident-prone, not caring about scrapes and bruised when they were out having fun with their friends.
Except Juniper wasn't like that. She was still quite reserved, always the lone wolf. Except for that one student who always hung around her, Lea - quite the darling, they might add. Such a strange pair.
It came as a surprise - though, in hindsight, it made plenty of sense - when they caught Juniper fighting another student. Though she was quite battered, she had the boy pinned to the ground as she growled at him to leave her friend alone, or else. She begrudgingly stood upon the teacher's orders, scowl still in place as she was reprimanded for her actions. From the crowd came running a familiar face - Lea, the teacher noticed, unsurprised - begging for them not to call Juniper's parents, blubbering something about it being her fault, that she was only protecting her. With a sigh, the teacher sent them to the infirmary, promising to let it slide, just this once. Much to their dismay, this wouldn't be the last time Juniper was caught fighting, and the school's staff had in turn become well acquaintanced with the girl's parents.
