Hello and welcome to the Alola region. In this region you'll find a number of exotic and tropical pokemon from wolves, dragons, bipedal bugs, a wrestling tiger to even a giant lion. Yes, Alola really is a breath-taking sight.
Todays spotlight goes to Mudsdale, the first real horse pokemon to grace our presence. Don't tell me you think Ponyta, Rapidash, Blitzle and Zebstrika are horses? Ponyta is a pony, Rapidash is a unicorn, Blitzle is a small zebra and Zebstrika is a big one. Never has an old fashioned horse shown its face in pokemon. Yet here we are with this huge tank. Not only does he have defence but he has strength to go with it.
Never rely on your Mudsdale to take on a special attacker as his special defence is really low. He has the physical bulkiness to handle any rock or fighting type but he just cannot manage a hydro pump. Not screenshotted here is his ability. He has a common one called Own Tempo that prevents him from being confused but its not all that exciting. Sure its useful but his rare ability is by far the better one. If you get the chance be sure to use Stamina. The ability Stamina ups his defence by one for every time he is attacked. It doesn't seem like much until you take in to account how much defence he already has. It basically turns your Mudsdale in to Trumps dream wall.
