Plot

Two Kingdoms - One who prefers to "live and let live" but will stand against inhumane treatment of others, operates primarily in a peaceful manner and offers asylum to refuges vs waging war. One who is convinced that "peace" is attained through control and seeks to conquer those they can to ensure their safety. Peaceful king grew up in the family of the "winner" of a war fought over 100 years ago, waring king grew up in the family of those who lost but later were given their land back and had their rule restored. Tainted by the influence of darkness that fed on trauma, the line grew more convinced of impending doom and began to seek to control those outside their boarders. In the two kingdoms are the two halves of the great spirit, a force in the universe that divides as things begin to fall apart and is "born" in two individuals who serve as unknowing vessels that will either restore a balance through uniting and resolving the issue causing things to fall apart or will allow for a great destruction and rebirth (collapse of the well like a black hole then an explosion on a galactic level) by failing to do so.Spirits are aware that the halves are in the world, but cannot "see" who they are until the half is aware as to prevent attempts to influence. Pan and Flickerings are the two halves. Flickerings is born of mythic + human and Pan is human + human (remember magic is accessible to all). Flickerings comes from nomadic family that lives outside the kingdoms, Pan comes from family that has lived in the kingdom for generations. The two meet when Flickerings' family travels along the boarder line, close the where Pan lives, to participate in trade.
