Everywhere you looked was chaos, broken toys scattered everywhere, arts and craft supplies strewn about, the kid’s rooms were a complete disaster. The young boy of the household got into a fight with his little sister over who made the mess, both of them blamed each other even though they were both innocent. He yelled at his sister, “Who’s gonna clean this mess up? You better not have broke Woodcraft!” “Its not gunna be me! It’s all your fault! Where did you hide Princess Key-Key?” The little girl yelled back.

To think it all began with a unicorn scribble slathered in glitter with a pair of googly eyes…

A few weeks ago during the last few weeks of summer vacation, the little girl felt lonely and in her boredom decided to draw. Using her finest pack of crayons she drew what she thought was a masterpiece! Rainbows is what she called him, a magnificent unicorn with a mane of rainbows and a horn made of solid gold. (Between you and me it might be hard to tell if the drawing was actually a unicorn or a blob of cotton candy…) Glancing at her drawing, the little girl felt that Rainbows needed a little something ‘special’. Smearing a bit of glue on her pièce de résistance, the little girl dumped a pot of multicoloured glitter to help accentuate Rainbows’ beautiful mane and tail. With a quick huff to blow off the excess sparkles she hemmed and hawed at Rainbows and felt he was still missing something to set im apart from the rest. GOOGLY EYES! As if struck by sheer genius Rainbows could now see with his mystical new pair of googly eyes.

Rainbows was put on the fridge so that everyone could witness his glory! The sparkles! The colours! OH THE MAGNIFICENCE! Everyday for about a week the little girl stopped to admire Rainbows and compliment him on his beauty. Her attention was quickly drawn elsewhere when she received a new state of the art keychain princess. The little girl no longer poured her affection into Rainbows, which greatly saddened him. For a few more days he watched as his creator obsessed over “Princess Key-Key” and his sadness turned to hatred and anger. To add more insult to injury, Mom got tired of seeing Rainbows on the fridge to the point where she crumpled him up and threw him in the garbage. ’Good riddance!’ she thought, ’Now I don’t have to clean up glitter off the floor everyday! It got everywhere! To think a drawing could shed! Ha!’

From the dark abyss of the garbage, sinister energies encircled the crumpled ball of paper. The anger and hatred that Rainbows was harbouring culminated and created the impossible; a flat 2 dimensional unicorn scribble lifted from the crumpled paper. Rainbows had truly come alive.

“AHAHAHAHA!” A mad cackle echoed from the garbage bin. “They will all come to adore me! Better yet, I WILL MAKE THEM BOW TO ME! THEIR OVERLORD!”

Before he could become anyone's overlord, he had to find a way out of the trash. And did he ever! With a giant explosion of rainbow coloured sparkles, the great and glorious scribble made his expeditious escape. Now free from his canister of a prison, Rainbows immediately set off in what direction he remembered his divine creator would frequent.

In no time at all, Rainbows entered the little girl's room. He remembered the path there from his time when he was adored and carried all throughout the house. Remembering the layout of the household thanks to having a photographic memory, was just one of the many talents the soon to be overlord had. With a quick glance he cased the room and to his surprise the greatest treasure of all time was left unattended, Princess Key-Key! HE WOULD ENACT HIS REVENGE ON THE SOURCE OF HIS BETRAYAL! Rainbows cackled madly as he shuffled, shimmied, scampered and sprinted to the electronic keychain's side. Before the scribble could blow the toy up in a sparkle explosion his attention was drawn to the pixel figure training with some barbells. As if he was hit by a slo-motion scene from Baywatch, Rainbows watched the digital princess work out during a training session with hearts in his googly eyes.

In a split second decision, the evil overlord decided he would capture and take the princess hostage instead of destroying her. The pixel princess had no idea what was going on in the world outside her digital keychain home, meanwhile Rainbows relished at the thought of having his own captive princess. Putting his flat head through the keychain loop, he made off with his pixel princess in tow.
