"Have you ever wondered, if magic really works the way we think it does... or if maybe, there's more than what is observed the moment we cast a spell?" Umbria Sophi asks, intensely staring at you. But she doesn't wait for an answer. "No, no, listen! What if there IS more? What if, maybe, a spell isn't just what we perform, but also, all of what it could be? Like how light is both a wave and a particle... Magic... magic could be like that too!"She motions you inside her cluttered study without a second thought.

Scrolls and books lie scattered on the floor, strange diagrams cover the walls, and a dozen magically animated candles flicker precariously among the mess, it seems like they are trying to help her find something. She snatches a piece of parchment, scribbling furiously. "I have to send this to Teodors, he needs to see this! Sure, sure, he doesn’t study it like I do, but I swear, his dreams mean something!"

You try to speak, but she cuts you off again, waving her hand, the energy in the room almost palpable. "There’s more! There’s always more. If we could understand the underlying principles, the possibilities would be... endless. Infinite realities are collapsing into one at this very moment!"

Suddenly, she stops, blinking as if waking from a trance. "Oh! I’ve been talking this whole time right? Sorry, what’s your name, again? Wait, who are you?"

You clear your throat. "Uh... didn’t you order a pizza? That’ll be 20 bucks."

A mechanical parrot, intricately built from brass gears and tinted polished metal, descends from the sky, it enters through the open window and lands on Sophi’s cluttered desk. Its eyes flicker with yellow light, then green. A shimmering illusion of a letter materializes in the air. The parrot speaks in a clear, yet robotic tone:

I trust this letter finds you well, though my observations of this very reality indicate your assignment remains overdue. While I appreciate your insatiable curiosity and unconventional theories, you must first master the fundamentals. Your current task requires a thorough examination of the mechanics behind levitation. In particular, I expect you to explore the relationship between force, mass, and acceleration, as outlined in Meowton’s second law of motion (F = ma).
An analysis of vector forces will be essential in understanding how magical energy aligns with the laws of classical physics. I look forward to five pages on the mathematical derivation of these principles as applied to your chosen levitation spell.
