Lily is naivete personified. She was born into a time of great strife for her village, and being her parents' only child after years of struggle and miscarriages, she was forbid to leave her house. Her parents kept everything about the real world hidden from her; as far as she knew, the world was nothing but pleasantries. It was only once her best friend, Charles, began to be hunted by magic embezzlers, that she began to realize she had been very mislead.

She is an artist, and has a soul as pure as snow. She is an eternal optimist, wanting to believe the world is good, a trait that will be tested the more her parents' illusion is worn down. She is childish, and trusts much too easily.
