History: Fascinated with the virus outbreaks of 2009 to 2012, Tristan has read every book available outside of shadowglen on the subject though what little information was available was more often than not skewed and one sided. Not satisfied with the lack of unbiased information available on the day to day lives of those that were infected and survived, Tristan got into the habit of putting himself in danger both physically and legally and often trespassed into the underground.

It was on one such occasion that he met his future significant other; after being found out by a hoard of unliving of the less cerebral variety, he was chased out of the underground and ducked into a small shop at the edge of Shadowglen Woods. Hiding in a rack of clothes so that he couldn't be seen through the windows, Tristan found himself nose to nose with a shy unliving by the name of Miles Carfield. Though most would have been frightened or at least startled, Tristan immediately jumped into asking the poor unliving all sorts of questions which caught Miles by surprise as he expected some sort of negative reaction and certainly not an interrogation.

After that, Tristan often visited Miles at his shop to talk as it was much safer than sneaking into the underground, as time went on they became close and eventually Tristan asked Miles on a date. One date led to another and to another, and finally they were an official item, causing quite the stir around Shadowglen, though Skitters openly supported them as they weren't unlike he and Fantine used to be. Though living together is out of the question for the time being, Miles often escorts Tristan to the underground, taking him to half baked--though the Subetan can't stomach the pastries himself--and to the other sights to be seen.

Other: Tristan is the only child of a middle class Atebus family, he has a college degree in Subetan history and has an all encompassing love of tea.
