I sometimes wonder if I'm an artist at all. I mix mediums, mix paints, and mix my metaphors. Is what I do art if people don't like it? I gave some of my art to family for Christmas. Of course, Julia was happy and loved it. My sister will always love what I do. But when cousin Billie made the joke it was a 'cheap present'... I don't think they realise how long I worked on each piece. Making sure it was just right.

23rd May:
I wish paint was cheaper! Plus I really want a lens for my camera but it's almost the price of a car. Maybe if I stuck to only one medium it would work, but infusing photos and painting kinda means double the expenses!
