It's surreal. I stand here watching the vitals on the monitor, I'm asleep. Well no, I'm not asleep, I'm in a coma, I'm dying. I see myself. I look so frail and helpless lying there on scratchy hospital sheets. They're blue, I never liked blue, not sure why, not that it matters now.

I lean over my own sleeping form, it lays unmoving. My hands reach out to touch, yet I'm transparent, fingers passing through the arm of my physical form. I can't touch, I can only watch as my life ebbs away.
