THE DEMON QUEEN

"All hail Queen LILYITH!"

The roars and yells of her fellow
demons were pleasing to hear. Although she
herself was soaked head to toe in blood and fire,
her subjects looked upon her with the upmost
respect. Behind her lay a limp body.

"The king is no longer," LILYITH snarled.
"Today marks the day that Hell is reformed. We
must destroy our old traditions and bring about
the new!"

The crowd screeched their agreement. Satisfied,
their new queen turned to walk back into her castle.
She stepped harshly on the king's body, a feeling of
accomplishment spreading throughout her. She had
been planning his demise for months and she finally
had the perfect moment to execute it. Her boots stained
the velvet rug underneath her, but she couldn't care less.

She was their ruler now. Much needed change was on the
horizon; LILYITH would make sure of that.
