Torii gates are used in Japan to mark sacred ground and holy sites. Perfect name for the guardian of the entrance to the Spirit Realm, or what some may call 'Heaven'.
Torii often fights with the Eastern Fu while taking part in soul exchanges, and whatever else ( usually beasts that have been born limbo ), gets too close to the holy portal to the Spirit Realm without having first obtained Torii's blessing.
May have a pair of Inari Okami to help him get things done.
