Deathmask Divine is the youngest of the three guardian siblings of Limbo. Being the most empathetic and kind of the three, she is tasked to guard the entrance to Limbo from the mortal world.
In her mortal life, Deathmask Divine was a master jeweler. She was commissioned far and wide to make beautiful pieces for royals, celebrities and collectors. Many of her creations live on in museums, and to own an original piece is a rare and prestigious honor. Even in death, her affinity for all things rare and precious followed.

One afternoon, outside the foyer, Deathmask heard the sound of mortal voices, and came to defense. Trotting along the garden walls, she saw two human males tormenting an innocent gecko.
"Those fools, how did they even find this place?" she muttered. "Mortals and immortals alike have been trying to keep people out of here for centuries. Impenetrable walls, deep open water, snipers surrounding the place, and these simpletons still bumbled their way in?" A human laughed and said "Dude what would happen if we chucked it down the hole to hell haha?" The males bleated with obnoxious laughter as the gecko squirmed in their hands. They were full aware what occurs when a living being accidentally enters Limbo.
Utilising her strong hind legs, she backed into a supporting beam and kicked it with all her might. The shaken earth caused the humans to come unbalanced, tumbling into the entrance of Limbo.
"There's a reason this place is so high security," she mocked, "It's so this doesn't happen. But you morons have proven that human stupidity has no limits." The gecko climbed onto her shoulder, and she nuzzled it with her nose. Don't be scared, you're safe with me now, she whispered. She sauntered away, her lizard companion perched atop her withers, leaving the cruel humans to come to terms with the consequences of their mistakes.
