NV is one of four Mechanical Creations that run an area called the "Exclusion Zone", an area filled with hazardous materials and odd metals that only he and his three comrades can work with. With these metals and materials, they create some of the best tools known to Astrinet. Hammers that never wear down, cellphones that outlast even the most clumsy of owners and much more. NV specifically is the keeper of knowledge of these materials. He teaches a couple of the others how to make new and old recipes. He is made up of these metals and such and while he looks "new" he is actually quite old. Probably the oldest of the four though no one is counting. He even helped Partition set up his barriers when they first started the venture and is proud of how the loner maintains the security.
