(this page is a wip)

Striking orange eyes stared out a window, head resting on the inside of her paw. Absentmindedly, her other paw was waving, creating and dispersing a flame rhythmically. It was after school and she was spending time in detention -- again. She watched as leaves fell slowly from trees and several of the students hung out outside the school, kicking a hackysack back and forth or standing idly and chatting. A sigh escaped her lips as she pulled her gaze away and leaned back in her chair. Even with her legs outstretched, they still couldn't quite reach the floor. There were two others in detention with her -- one was a regular like her, while the other was a new face. The other regular was a punk that had a thing for being a peeping tom -- he could shapeshift into anyone by physically touching them, and oftentimes used that to go into the women's bathroom. His transformations weren't always complete and they weren't consistent with how long they lasted, so most of the time he got caught while still in the bathroom. The other was a newer student who had actually beat the crap out of the regular guy, and although it was well-deserved, it was a little excessive and required a while spent alone with the school's nurse before he could go back to class. At the front of the room was the supervising teacher -- her legs were propped up in front of her and she was casually thumbing through a magazine. She was able to read with one eye and keep and eye on the students with the other with ease. Her quirk was being able to manipulate any part of her body to move in any direction by rearranging her body structure or through sheer muscle control. She could fully rotate her neck with no harm done to herself -- a popular trick with the younger kids, and a groaner for the older kids at the school. Glancing at the clock on the wall, another sigh escaped her lips as she realized they still had another half hour to go. One would think she'd learn to not get stuck in detention, but then again... she couldn't help it. Something just compulsed her to be disobedient and defy instructions given by her parents and teachers. She knew it and they knew it, but still, nothing was done about it. So, into trouble she kept getting.

THWACK.

A pencil smacking her in the head disturbed her from her apparent slumber, and she awoke with start. The first thing she looked at was the clock -- it was several minutes past the time to leave. The teacher was at the front of the room with her arms crossed and looking at her expectantly. The regular was already gone, but the new face was still putting his things away. She narrowed her eyes a bit, wanting to get back at whoever threw the pencil at her, but wasn't sure which one it was. With a sign, she hopped out of her seat and quickly exited the room. Not a word was said between her and the teacher or new face. Glancing to make sure no one was around, she made a beeline for the stair railings and hopped up to slide down them. During school hours it was highly frowned upon, but it was a lot quicker than using her tiny little legs on the actual stairs. Three floors later, she hopped off and headed for the front door. And, just for good measure, set a single paper on fire on the notice board as she walked by. Out front, there appeared to be no stragglers left. Just her. It wasn't long after she got to the sidewalk in front of the school that she heard light footsteps behind her. She ignored them for a while, but eventually
