Nobody knows exactly when Agitha, self-proclaimed princess of the insect kingdom, moved in to Castle Town. Her castle has been around for as far back as anyone can remember, and she has lived there alone for just as long. If she has any relatives, nobody has ever seen or heard of them. She occasionally talks of the way she raised the massive tree within her castle from a sapling, fondly reminiscing about how much it reminds her of her old home... but by the sheer size of the trunk and the way the branches extend high above the rows of buildings, it must have been planted a very, very long time ago.--
Some may dismiss her as a delusional child, or perhaps just a lonely orphan conjuring stories in an attempt to make friends. Agitha doesn't mind, though. She's content with only her bugs for companions-- they're so cute, and so much fun to spend time with! They remind her of her old home, as well. She tries to be a fair and kind princess to her countless subjects.
In truth, she's really a Kokiri, an immortal race of fairy-like shapeshifters from the deepest reaches of the forest. While Kokiri are normally shy and avoid outsiders whenever possible, Agitha had always been curious about the human world, and one day decided to leave Kokiri Village behind for greater things. The sapling she planted in her house was a present from the Great Deku Tree, a parting gift to spread his protection and wisdom far and wide. It's been many hundreds of years since she left home, however, and the Kokiri have fallen into myth... Even Agitha herself is unsure where they are these days, but she hopes they're all doing well.
