I looked high, I looked low. But there were none as far as I could see.
There were people everywhere, but there was no person just for me.

A little lonely but never deterred, Just taking a breather from my search.

And then there you were.
You sat down quietly, murmured, "Hello!" and asked to join me as I played.
You had a stuffed bear who looked quiet fierce, and a puppy name Jade who I just knew I'd come to love.

You liked the things I do, you were always kind, you never shout.
You were patient, you were loving, and you always helped out.
You took care of your family and friends, and asked nothing in return.
