Dolore was once a happy little jollin owned by a Subetan who loved her very much - up until she was hit by a car and lost her life. Somehow, Dolore couldn't fully cross into the spirit realm, leaving her bound to the living world for the time being. Most of her body remained intact except for her once-long, bushy tail which is now a ghostly plume of smoke. Her death also caused a personality shift, making her morose and moody most of the time.

Despite her sadness, Dolore does like some things, like reading poetry, wearing over-sized sweaters, stuffed animals, and bringing home stray minions. When she's feeling less angsty than usual, she will go and visit Niv or Slagan, but normally her minion pals keep her company.
