Konrad Krohn attended Durmstrang in the late 1800's. As a young boy, he hated to be so far away from his home in Germany. To take his mind off of things, he spent most of his free time drawing. He was able to make the doodles in his school books come to live the better he got at charms and drawing. Once Konrad graduated, he was able to get a job at the German wizarding newspaper, Die Silberne Fledermaus, where he became an illustrator. The young man partnered up with a journalist, called Astrid Abendrot, and travelled far beyond German borders with her to get the latest news. A few years later, Konrad proposed to her and together they bought a house by the North Sea.
