The fabled Hero, chosen by Goddess Eya herself, Audrey Redheart was on a mission to save the world. Accepting the magical sword gifted to her in a dream by Eya's messenger, she began her long, arduous journey. Her goal was simple: defeat the corrupted overseers to keep the order of the universe flowing as it should.

Unfortunately, things weren't going exactly according to plan. The overseers themselves were nothing; a quick swing of her sword and they were wiped out of existence. It was almost merciful how quick she was able to dispatch the beings, liberating them from their forms before they could be completely overtaken by the creeping darkness. No, they weren't the issue.

Of all the things that could have possibly gotten in her way, it just had to be some irritatingly optimistic minstrel and an ornery, no-name witch. The bard even had the gall to claim to be the true Hero themself.

As annoying as this was, Audrey was resolute. She would complete her mission despite their constant interference. She had no other choice.

She was the Hero.

She refused to let herself be anything less.

Not ever again.
