So, this is my first entry I guess. I've never been much for journaling but Mel said it might help seems how I'm coming up on the first anniversary of Jessica's death. It's hard to believe it's almost been a year already. I still wake up thinking I'll hear her playing in her room or downstairs watching cartoons but after listening for a few minutes all there is is silence and the realization hits me the way it did the day after she died. I don't know if I'll ever get used to it.
