''Andy. A soldier serving his time in hell. A man of few words he gets done what needs to be done. None are Certain what or who he is fighting for, on the battlefield he is quick and cunning, as if he has done this over and over. Some say he never ages and they would be correct. For he is stuck in a dream like state fighting and fighting when truly the war has been over for years. His body has been preserved in the present time but he has yet to wake up. What is keeping him there? What is he doing wrong? The clock keeps on resetting in his dream like state..will someone finally help him awake?''

Please note the original date and setting for this takes place on April 1st 1945 at Okinawa, invasion of the Ryukyu Islands. The story I am about to tell is Historical fiction. While I did my best to look up the correct dates and terms. There may be somethings off. This is just a tale of one Solider in particular trying to fix the inevitable. In no way are any of my characters real or were alive for this occurrence. Thank you. Also I make typing mistakes.

Characters

Andy Scott-Andy is a silent male. Showing little to no emotion on the battlefield. He is the youngest among his other fellow soldiers at the age of twenty. He had already been in combat prior to Okinawa and was scouted for his quick thinking , and agile movements. He falls in love with Pamula. However it does not last long, for she sacrifices herself for the safety of the troops. Due to the incident Andy ended up in a coma.

Pamula Campbell-Known for her brilliant knowledge in natural remedies and herbs she was adopted by a Japanese family from Okinawa.Pamula was adopted for such knowledge to help her step mother with her illness. She lived there until she turned eighteen. For she dabbled in a bit of voodoo, which caused her step-father to shun and banish her from the family. She attempted to preserve her younger step sister's dying rabbit, in hopes medicine in the future could save it. However her step father viewed it as a bad omen, leaving her village she met up with Andy Scott's troops and helped them by being a medical assistant.

Frank Wilson- A good friend of Andy and fellow Solider, almost like a father to him. He is loud and outgoing. Takes things at full speed and loves every moment of his life. He if fixated on the camera his wife had sent him. Andy would joke with him saying the camera would be his downfall. Frank pulled Andy into safety when the land mine went off, he left his camera around andy's neck. Frank perished with the rest of the troop, reasons of their death or what happened are unknown.
