I have a super soft spot for Winnie the Pooh. Both because of childhood memories, and because the parallels I have found between Winnie and my love Juneau. I also really love quotes and have "collected" them most of my life. There are many quotes from Winnie the Pooh books and shows that are beautiful. I have the idea to combine my love of quotes with the connection I feel towards Winnie through Winn. I'm thinking a chibi chai (though that could totally change) for species and color. And a character who is happy and generally just unburdened by the weight of life as we know it. A lover of words who travels and "collects" them. I'm not sure exactly how I want to expand the story overall, I'm thinking he collects them and eventually finds he has so many journals filled with the quotes he has collected that he opens his collection as a public library of sorts. Maybe inspired because he encounters someone who is struggling and finds that he should not just collect the words for himself, but share them with others because you never know who else can find comfort, courage, or healing in them.
