Zandalar, the home of the Zandalari trolls. Or to be more exact the home of all trolls and all races descended from them. It’s a mountainous island that harks back before the Great Sundering; when the world was whole. The Zandalari were so formidable they survived the sundering and thrived from that event.

The capital is called Dazar’alor and it is great; the shining jewel within the jungle. Dazar’alor towers over the landscape in all its decadent glory. Gold and jewels adorn the walls in a show of great wealth, even the guards are decorated with grandiose finery and armed with the most beautiful weaponry. The upper echelons of the city paint themselves with paints of gold and silver to create a pleasing backdrop to their shining outfits.

Amongst this show of great decadence is a seedy under belly, the lower classes crawl between the cracks. The city is rife with crime, gangs enlisting children to do their dirty work, con men selling fake overpriced jewellery, seedy bars serving questionable drinks. Many turn a blind eye to the troubles of the peoples living in the lower levels of the city, most civilians care more about their appearance and vast wealth. Because of the ignorance of the wealthy nothing will change.

This is until two light baring aristocrats found that their home had been ransacked. They swore they’d find who did it and bring them to justice.
