Misregard was an angel charlie who lived a quiet life in a humble village on the Omen Islands , making various potions for her fellow Subetans. However, one night Misregard began to have strange dreams.

Experiences she didn’t remember yet they somehow felt familiar…

These dreams led the angel charlie to a mysterious shed….

In this shed there was a room filled with various books, potions, and measuring instruments. This room had been Misregard’s old study, where the angel charlie had spent many hours studying the magical elements and concocting potions.

However, Misregard barely remembered this place. She only had faint memories hidden away in the deep mist of her mind. The charlie was far more familiar with the magical study she had back on the Omen Islands. That study also was filled with books, potions and measuring instruments but was obviously much smaller than the study sprawled out before Misregard now.

Misregard entered the room and began browsing. The room didn’t show any obvious signs of neglection, with the exception being that the tables, instruments, and books were covered in dust. Misregard noticed several awards on one of the shelves. One was a trophy with Misregard’s name and the words “1st place Little Miss Veta.” There was another trophy indicating that Misregard had won 2nd place in the Subetan Alchemist Vetan Division, followed by a certificate that stated the charlie had won 1st place the following year.

At the time, Misregard couldn’t make any connections. Yes, she knew that she was skilled in the ways of magic, but the angel charlie hadn’t considered herself exceptional in the looks department. Misregard wasn’t ugly, but she had a few physical flaws that prevented her from being seen as a picture perfect model of beauty. Misregard’s opinion of herself sunk even lower when she found out why she didn’t remember. In the past Misregard was indeed beautiful and talented but also very vain and petty. At one point the charlie had become jealous of a pet who had been deemed fairer than Misregard. Bitter, the charlie concocted a wicked plan against her rival. The scheming charlie’s plot was foiled by a fairy, who erased all of Misregard’s memories of her past life and made slight alterations to Misregard’s appearance in an attempt to keep the charlie from becoming vain again. Learning about her dark past upset Misregard so much that the charlie vowed to live the rest of her days in her island village in anonymity.

But now it seemed history was repeating itself.

One of Misregard’s dearest friends, an Angel Keeto named Pearl, was being honored by her village for a great achievement.

And Misregard was having feelings of jealousy toward Pearl as a result.

Misregard sprinted towards her study, hoping to lose herself in making potions and just forget the whole jealousy situation. As the charlie half-mindedly scanned the spell books, her eye caught the name of an interesting spell…

Emotion-Eradicus, a spell used to remove negative emotions.

It was as if the pieces of a puzzle clicked together in Misregard’s mind.
