handsome and charismatic starship captain. pilots for Roche who visits solar systems that have that have potential for harboring extra terrestrial life. acts like kind of a dummy but its a lot smarter than he seems.

father and mother were both in the space fleet. kingo spent a lot of his childhood on base in orbit and was groomed from a young age to join the space fleet. roche requested a small crew because he doesn't like people too much and just wants to do his science. kingo graduated at the top of his class and was totally capable / excited for the challenge BUT! he's very high energy and annoying. he forces roche out of his shell and they both learn a lot from each other
