Easily bashful, friendly, and great at brewing a fine cup of tea. These are just a few kind words spoken about Spiced Chai, a young Hydrus Telenine with a strange deformity; he grows tea leaves on his back! Being often questioned about his unknown condition, he mostly keeps to himself to avoid trying to explain that he's unaware of the origin of his genetic abnormality. One thing he does know, if he plucks one, it grows back in a matter of days. And when dried and brewed into a tea, creates a strange spice scent and sweet flavor.
Being a loner and interested in teas, Spiced Chai opened his own cafe he dubbed "One Leaf Or Two" to share his wonderful tea with the lovely Delphi Beach guests. Sometimes he has no visitors due to hot weather being a not-so-appropriate time for hot tea, and being a bit iffy about iced tea being able to hold a strong taste, he's more often than not building a little sand castle outside his shack. As shy as he is, he does get a bit giddy about others wanting to build with him or invite him to play with a beach ball. No, really, go say hi!
