Enzi was born in the arms of a frightened little girl. He was nothing more than a plushie then, made of faux fur and stuffing with shiny button eyes. But the power of the feeling of comfort and safety he gave the girl was what brought him to life.
What started as simply helping the girl feel safe in her twilit bedroom evolved as the girl grew. He traveled with her into the Dream Realm, where he fought off her nightmares. And during the day, if ever she felt overwhelmed and alone, he fought off those monsters as well from the warmth of her embrace.
But eventually, the girl grew up and Enzi was left in a closet for many years. And just as the girl had grown and changed, so too had Enzi’s life force. Inside the stitched, soft shell was a warrior in need of a charge to protect. He knew out there, were more monsters to fight and more souls to keep safe. And so, he finally broke free.
It was as if fate called him, and he appeared in a new place. This time, however, he was no longer a floppy toy. No, this time he was able to freely move on his own just as he had in the Dream Realm!
Enzi donned his shining armor and raised his blade, roaring proudly. Never again would he sit by while evil tormented the weak.
And wherever evil lurks, no matter the realm, Enzi need only listen to the call and he can step between the Veil to stop it.
