What was once a fun-loving, hellraising, but ultimately harmless youth has become lost in a fog of nihilism and alcohol. Growing up he'd weaponize his sense of humor to cover his emotions. As a result, he has no clue how to deal with them now that he's too tired to laugh at anything anymore. Severe issues with cutting ties due to his acute fear of change and confrontation; aligns himself neutral for similar reasons, although he acts as if his centrism somehow makes him logically superior to everyone else. Repeatedly manipulated at the hands of his one remaining childhood friend. In his defense, this is only partially due to his own spinelessness.
Once he finds himself undeniably alone, Eli travels, vainly seeking a someone or something that can help him grow into a child again.
