Before the Calamity: The fact that I, the great Revali, am expected to play second fiddle to that little hylian is preposterous. He is hardly a specimen worthy of the title. I am the true hero here. My abilities with a bow are simply unmatched. Revali's Gale a true testament to my greatness. It's considered to be quite the masterpiece of aerial techniques, even among the Rito. Can he even fly? Of course not. I would expect nothing less from a hylian. Hardly worth of the title of Hero. I, on the other hand am destined for greatness. They will sing songs about me. Just you wait and see. Countless tales of my valor and greatness will be passed on for generations to come. Ganon will fall to me and praise will pour from the mouths of all who speak. With Vah Medoh I simply cannot fail. I, Revali, will be the true hero. AM the true hero.

After the Calamity: Bested by Ganon's Waterblight and trapped for a century to reminiscence on my failure. Yet there is a ray of hope. After all these years the hylian came. I watched as he fought valiantly to reclaim that which I could not protect. He restored the Devine Beast Vah Medoh to its former glory and returned hope to my people. I watched as the Rito cheered for he who was once my greatest rival. I almost cheered for him as well. Almost. Even in my current state I am still an exquisite specimen, but perhaps the little hylian is not so little as I originally thought. Perhaps he is even....a hero. The hero we desperately need. I will bestow upon him my greatest accomplishment - Revali's Gale. With this he surely cannot fail. After all it came from me and I am impeccable. It is up to you now Link. Save the princess.
