the near future, mysterious explosions have shaken the Earth, causing a series of supernatural events known as the Death Stranding. Unusual creatures invade the landscape and mass extinction is imminent. Sam must cross the devastated wasteland to save humanity from imminent annihilation.

Sam has a pessimistic view regarding the United States and the state of the world, as at one point he tells Bridget, "America doesn't exist anymore" and that "they don't need a country." He also displays a disconnected attitude towards life and does not believe that unity will solve any of humanity's current problems, so there is no point in bothering at all.For some reason, Sam has a unique body composition that is different from everyone else. This means that your waste and fluids (e.g. feces, blood, urine, etc.) can be synthesized. Furthermore, it is said to be affected by decline differently from other forms of life.Sam possesses an unknown skin called DOOMS, similar to Fragile. However, its extinction factor is lower than Fragile's.It has level two DOOMS, which allows it to detect BTs, but it cannot see them without connecting to a Baby Bridge. He also has aphenphosphobia for much of his life, a fear of touch and an affliction that causes an allergic reaction to being touched.

Before carrying out the intense delivery days, Sam must prepare his cargo; choosing your equipment and balancing it and equipping your costume and accessories.Due to the toughness of the mission, Sam is able to take a break; including massages and body stretches. Periodically, the capsule's environmental conditions must be updated by inserting it into a special incubator that synchronizes it with the dead mother's uterus at a given time, taking the data to maintain the deception longer.
