Tokyo Girl's just going through life. She walks through streets, breathes air, and doesn't stop the world from turning. She'll live to 25, and then what'll she do?
Tokyo Girl, she spends another night polishing glasses in a dimly lit bar, her reflection in each vessel living a better life. There's not more than this, she knows, and she'd rather take a break, but the world still turns, so Tokyo Girl walks on.
Tokyo Girl is a bystander, a street, a city. It seems as if she's heading straight ahead, but her steps are unsteady because she doesn't look down at the uneven pavement. There's no point, because the ground is concrete around her, as are the walls and the sky. If it all looks the same, then it doesn't matter where Tokyo Girl goes, so long as she walks.
