Nelson was normal. Entirely too normal for his liking. He got average grades, he was a drab color, he lived in a plain house on the outskirts of Centropolis...everything about his life was bland. Until the day he picked up a camera. Seeing life through a lens gave him an entirely different perspective on the world. It was like capturing a moment of time that he could revisit. It was like being able to take the emotion out of his own head and giving it to someone else to experience. It was like nothing else in Nelson's normal life and from the first snap, he was hooked. It started as a hobby, an after-school class, where the teacher said he really had an eye for it. Then he took classes at the local community college, eventually securing an internship at the local newspaper, and later, an actual paying job. People were paying him to pursue his passion. He shook his head every morning - he used to see normal as a bad thing, but his life was a pretty good normal now. Nelson was normal...and happy for it!
