Mr. Hopinopolis is a tribute to my recently deceased pet rabbit, Pippin. I got Pippin in Maine from a hole in the wall pet shop in Bangor near the airport. I specifically left my house that day saying I did not want a plain black rabbit, I wanted something fancier. I went home with a plain black rabbit.
I was told he was a girl at the pet store, but they were incorrect. Originally named Piper, he was my first mammal as an adult. He was fun loving, sweet and an absolute pleasure to have around.
