Sycamore

He/him | Forest Druid

Sycamore and his sibling Yule were raised in a flock of Irion, their parents having died not long before they hatched. The illness that had taken both their parents left the flock short in numbers of adults overall during a hatching season, and Yule and Sycamore never found adults who took the place of their parents. They instead bonded very closely to one another, and picked up bits and pieces of knowledge from whoever had time to teach them, including the nature magic common among the flock. Sycamore chose forest, and particularly autumnal, magics as his specialty, specifically picking a different magic from his sibling in a mutual decision for variety in their particular branches of druidcraft.

Sycamore is the face and charismatic speaker of the sibling duo. He is also, however, somewhat flighty, his most serious loyalty being to Yule and difficult to stretch to much else. He enjoys exploration and new discoveries, and can get bored and impatient easily if kept to one place for too long. His chipper demeanor sometimes causes people to think of him as naive or gentle, but just as autumn's bright colors are a herald for a forest going silent for a winter, there's more ferocity under Sycamore's attitude than one might expect.
