Binx was also referred to as Binky, Binkalink, Binky butt, Bug (short for love bug), and BINX!!! (when he was in trouble).

He loved boxes and couldn't help but sit in them whenever they were placed on the ground. He loved his soft foam ball but couldn't be trusted not to tear it apart and eat it. In his younger years, he would even play fetch. He also loved catching bubbles and chasing the laser pointer, but was far more interested in boxes than toys. As a kitten, he had a baby bear that he would snuggle with for naps. More than anything though, he just loved sitting with his humans and getting cheek scratchies.

As a Siamese mix, he was very chatty and very smart. He would often try to sound things out like "hello", "no", and "I don't know". Even when he was told to go to bed, despite a protesting "eh eh eh", he would march his butt to the bedroom. He was very well behaved and only really got in trouble for exploring places he wasn't allowed, like behind the tv or in the kitchen. One day while I was cleaning out the dresser, I let him play in it just to satisfy his curiosity. I also used to put on a thick padded hoody and play wrestle with him so he could pounce and bite until he tuckered out. Since he wouldn't go outside, he would run his laps and play with me to get out all his energy. At one point I even made him a scratching post halfway up the wall because he would run, jump, and cling to it even with nothing there. lol

At only 5 weeks old,we picked Binx out from a litter of kittens that my mom's coworker was adopting out. At 8 weeks old we got to take him home. He spent his whole life with my mom and me and brought us so much love and joy. He made us laugh with all of his silly antics, he cuddled with us, and he even gave us attitude when we didn't give him enough attention.

In his last few years, I would visit as I had gone off and gotten married. Whenever I would go to see him, he would act all tough like he didn't miss me, but a few cheek scratches later all would be forgiven. He missed me and I missed him. I would spend time with family and go to bed with my Binky butt curled up next to me.

Binx lived to be 17 years of age and was a love bug till the very end.
