Once upon a time, many years ago, there was a land that was always covered in snow. However, this was no ordinary snow. Instead of soft, fluffy snowflakes falling from the sky jagged shards of ice plummeted like tiny daggers cutting anyone unlucky enough to be caught outside during it's deadly onslaught. Unfortunately, the inhabitants of the country weren't only subjected to this during winter but also the warmer months. Plants in gardens and fields were slashed to ribbons, animals were imprisoned in their barns and children couldn't go out and play in the sunshine.

All of this was the work of the wicked Ice Sorceress.
