"If you truly want to help others, look for the helpers. Use your compassion and empathy with grace." It's something my mother said to me when it was time for me to go. She said not all humans like wyllops because of preconceived notions they grew up with. They may be unkind to me because of that, but I shouldn't take it to heart because I know I am a good wyllop. So when my new owner took me home, I was nervous and a bit shy. Although, she was excited to add me to her family.

One of the first creatures I met was a demi named Kharys. She was really sweet and gentle with me. When I mentioned I wanted to do something to help other Subetans, even though they may look at me distrustfully because of my size, she told me the best place to start was with Caelis. Caelis, is a quiet dragarth. Having a rough start in life, she can be a bit withdrawn, but it is from that rough place that she draws her strength and kindness. She is a lot bigger than I am, but she brought me to the Co Op in Centropolis to see if I thought it would be a good fit for what I wanted to do. For now, she and I stick together until I can be more comfortable on my own.

The Co Op is a pretty scary place sometimes. Every now and again I hear a shriek from a human who is surprised I am a volunteer and refuses my help. Those days I get pretty sad because all I want to to make people happy. I am determined to help where I can and try not dwell on those instances.

The bad days at the Co Op always leave me glum for a few days, I feel like I shouldn't be there because maybe I just am just too small to really make a difference. Both Caelis and Kharys do their best to cheer me up though.

One particularly rough day, I came home with Caelis defeated and ready to quit. Zilpah, happened to notice that day and decided I really needed some cheering up. Zilpah is the biggest creature I have ever seen, although she says she is on the small size for a mahar. She lead me to her room with Kharys and Caelis not far behind. Once there she grabbed a book and the four of us settled in. She found the perfect story to lift my spirits and reassured me I was doing an exceptional job. She even let me have one of her dice from her hoard, which from what Kharys tells me, is pretty special.

Kind, compassionate, empathetic and always willing to lend a helping hand, she works at the Adoption Agency helping place abandoned pets with new owners.
