the garden

Hydrangea had always loved the beautiful Garden of auras with its massive, misty meadows. It was a place where they felt connected to nature, to the cycle of life. They were a kind, hopeful, nectar drinker with opalescent arms, a round fluffy thorax, and completed by small pearl colored feet. The other inhabitants saw them as a tittering, bewildered blossom. Once, she had even jumped into a nearby creek and saved a fallen fragile seed pod; it's rare contents from one of the caretakers most precious flowers. That's the sort of protector they were. Hydrangea flitted from one blossom to the next, spreading the pollen along the silken petals. Their long, graceful wings glinting in the sun fluttered gracefully while Hydrangea nestled into another flower. Each flower greeted them with gentle swaying, the auras as unique to each flower as a creatures single strand of fur. The garden was in full bloom during the spring time, light breezes dancing along each flower and all who remained in the area.
