ELK is among the few Soulkeepers to maintain a single form. They resemble that of a great elk, though nearly pure white, and they bare antlers in which their collected souls reside.

As the Battle of the Cosmos continued, the Six Foregods burdened themselves with the cycle of life, and thus each of the Foregods brought forth an entity that would consume life to bring about death. Death by these beings was often considered honorary, though, as they were blessed by the Foregods.Morindhaus, Foregod of all life and nature, created the Soulkeeper. These were beings of great size and might, and could take on any animal form; however, these beings were burdened, for their creator was the giver of life, and so they were afflicted by their own existence.

ELK was one of the very first Soulkeeper's to be created. Though their powers are many, most notable are their abilities to consume or conquer souls. Old god Bal T'huum corrupted many souls, but ELK is able to purify them through battle. However, if ELK is unable to conquer the soul, they will devour it.

ELK's collected souls reside in their antlers. The spirits become their companions and are able to see the world for a while longer before ELK is called back to Morindhaus to let the souls rest in peace.

As aforementioned, because ELK is the taker of life but is ruled by Foregod of life, they are afflicted. This shines through in their physical form, making them white-grey with a forlorn demeanor. However, it affects them internally as well, and thus they are sorrowful and often dejected in their role as Soulkeeper.

During ELK's travels, they came across an abandoned calf that was near death. ELK comforted the animal before collecting its soul, and kept it for a long while. Because of their affliction, Morindhaus allowed ELK to keep the soul with them as a companion. ELK named the spirit Morin in their Foregod's honor.

Un & Seven; Creation of Kline

Before the birth of time or space existed Un, and his cause of existence and being is concealed in Void, and though his plans were foretold, they were only vague and without understanding; but the Three were foretold from the flesh of Un, and thus they were wrought. First came Morindhaus, Foregod of all the elements of the world Kline, render of the mountain and birther of all life before Man. Next came Veritias, Foregod of the systems of the Cosmos, who created first and went forth to churn the stars and the moons, and all that followed with them. Beside Veritias was Adcarian, who brought about all works of time, and solidified them by the Stones of Time. And for an era, only the three existed, without knowledge of what Un had in mind before them, nor after them; but harmony was held between the three Foregods, and there was no need or want for more or less.

Then Un spoke without voice from the Void, and Morindhaus and Veritias and Adcarian prepared Kline, though for what they knew naught.

Morindhaus bade the trees to flourish and bring forth fruit, and the dirt and rock to form precious stones. She split the center of the world vertically, and filled the chasm with the waters of the earth; and then in the waters she lifted land again to create islands. And on the islands and the land, she lifted the earth to high peaks.

And Veritias churned the channels of space faster, and gave the night four stars to light the way of direction. And Adcarian matched the pace of Veritias to create seasons, and periods by which Kline would be harvested, and together they decided the times of night and day.

Then Un spoke again without voice from the Void, and from his flesh he wrought four more Foretold gods, and thus the gods were whole. First came Morchan, Foregod of war, and though he was without ire and in the first eons he sat at peace, he was needed. And then came Radriar, Foregod of Justice, and from her came the chains of the animal kingdom, and though Morindhaus distrusted her for it, it was good. After Radriar was Domine, Foregod of Magic, and he, too, sat without purpose for a time. Then last of all was Bal T'huum, Foregod of Death, but within him there was spite and hatred, for the other Foregod's could create, but he could only reap life.

Thus Kline was whole in the eyes of the Foregods, but Un had much in store, and again from his flesh he wrought Man. The Elves, as they would be called by the Foregods, came forth upon Kline first to the Chetlan Isles, and they were of stone, so Morindhaus loved them greatly. They longed greatly for the mountains and the sea and the forest, and thus the Foregod of all the elements granted them the Islands, and they were named Morindhaus in her honor.

But when the Elves came upon Kline, Bal T'huum was filled with jeaousy. In his hunger to create, he harvested life from a tree, and it began to die, so from himself he wrought flesh, and so created the Orcs, and he was filled with pride. Then, he took the animals of Morindhaus, and joined them, too, with his flesh, and created dark beasts. The Foregods saw that this was not the creation of Un, and the Elves were disguested by them, and called them the Infernal, and swore themselves to their irradication. Thus the six Foregods abandoned Bal T'huum, and recognized him as an old god.

And so the Elves forged weapons from stone and wood, and Domine saw their plight and blessed them with runes and magic. And Adcarian knew that their fight was long and unending, for Bal T'huum was deathless as all the Foregods, and lifted the Stones of Time from deep within the earth and granted them to the Elves.

Then the War of the Cosmos was began, but it would forever be an unending battle. Thus in the midst of the war, Un wrought again from his flesh, and he created human, who Radriar loved so wholly that she gifted them a piece of herself so that they could always seek justice; and with man came Dwarves, who Morchan so loved that he taught them all he knew of weapons and craftmanship. And the Dwarves chose M'zaryk to abide, for there they found the most precious metals to form their weapons; but Man was fickle, and lusted (though not with evil in their hearts) for all the land that they could see, so many chose Lyr Nomia, and many chose Q'Arthauz.

The the war continued on for many eons while the six Foregods burdened themselves with the cycle of life, for they trusted Bal T'huum no more, and granted him no honor or privledge. In the most late years of the War of the Cosmos, Foregod Morchan and the Dwarves created a set of armor and weapons that became endowed with all the Foregods power, and the men and dwarves and elves took council with them. Though as they did, Bal T'huum laid seige to all of Q'Arthauz, and Radriar went to their aid with the stolen armor of the Foregods. By that grace, the men of Q'Arthauz were able to defeat the old god Bal T'huum, encasing him in the Foregod's armor, though in turn their skin was scorched, for they did not have the strength to wield it.

Thus Bal T'huum, encased in the Foregod's armor, was entombed in the eastern most part of the world, where men had yet to travel.
