A cold cold night

Cold. Oh so cold. It bit into the little Rreign's skin like a rabid dog would latch onto a piece of fresh meat. Oh so cold. Another rush of wind blasted from the heavens as if to make life even more of a struggle to hold on to. Ice and snow alike raced through the air, sticking to any object or being that it came in contact with. How could there still be room for oxygen when there was so much snow? There was no colour in this world any longer. White. That was the only thing that was left. How the little Rreign longed for the world of green. The spring that swept through the forests and mountains, giving life to the flowers which bloomed ever so brilliantly. Longed for the birds to sing a sweet melody to fill the air with their song and envelope her in a bubble of bliss. Longed to sit by a fire in the evening and share tales of long lost lands. This is what the little Rreign wished for as she drifted into the darkness that lay before her.
