There are too many things I wish to say, and I guess now is as good time as any to start trying to write my feelings down instead of becoming a stuttering mess while facing your knowing gaze. (We both know I'll already be crying when I deliver you this letter anyways)

It's been 17 years since you got offered 20 bucks to befriend a sad 8 year old boy. When I met you in a poppy hill, still not knowing how incredibly lucky I've been to have become your neighbor.

12 Years since I was a brilliant tween who had the great idea to flirt with you by playing a Hanged-Man game of all things, but still couldn't as much as dance with you at the Soiree without having a meltdown.

7 Years since we were barely adults, braving that new, scary -so so scary- world together. And that was when I finally had the courage to confess my feelings for you. I despise thinking that I could have lost you then due to my own inability to share the complexity of my feelings for you, but to be honest, I don't think would have done it any differently if I had the chance.

2 Years since we moved-in together and became real adults. Whatever that means! But we were incredibly lucky to have our families backing us up, even when they were teasing us non-stop over my lousy proposal. Sorry to have ruined your plans, by the way! But we can both agree nothing could have beat my famed Hanged-Man proposal anyways! (I'm just kidding, please don't kill me...)

And finally: it's been exactly 1 year since the day you made me the happiest man on earth, and married me. Though I'm pretty sure you do know that one, heh. I think nobody is ever gonna forget that day any time soon, it was the ceremony of the century, no, the millennia!

Well, this has been an attempt. It was easier than I expected! though I had to leave a lot of things out. You know I could ramble forever about how perfect you are and how much I love you.
